David Beckham played his first game with LA Galaxy

Although his contract with Real Madrid is now complete, playing for LA Galaxy was delayed due to his national team duties. So when is he really going start training and playing with the Galaxy?

His arrival to Galaxy will be delayed. Beckham made his Galaxy debut when the club host the English Premier League power Chelsea in an exhibition on July 21. He will make his first appearance in a championship game Aug. 5, when the Galaxy visit Toronto FC.   He could be called on to play for England team in September, October and November 2007 for the qualification for Euro 2008. This means he will miss some games for the LA Galaxy, but it always depends whether McClaren uses him in England games.
